Welcome to Year 1!
We are delighted to welcome children back into school for Term 6. We will begin the term with lots of transitional activities and games to make sure the children are fully settled back into the routines at school. Once they are ready we will start our new unit of work based upon the story 'Orion and the Dark' by Emma Yarlett. It is a really fantastic book which includes lots of links to PSHE (understanding and managing feelings), Science (light and dark) and many more exciting themes.
For those children not in school daily tasks will be put onto Seesaw to mirror what is being taught in school. If children are in school they do not need to do the Seesaw tasks too!
