Teaching Assistants required


We are looking for two full- time teaching assistants to join our team of excellent staff.

This post includes a requirement to provide midday supervisor cover for half an hour each day.  A willingness to work at our After School Club is desirable, either to provide supply cover or as a weekly commitment.


The successful applicant will have energy and enthusiasm, preferably with existing expertise or qualifications relevant to the role of teaching assistant and will share our Christian ethos.  A sensitivity to individual needs and a love of working with people is essential. The position may involve working with groups and 1:1 support. An understanding and knowledge of SEN needs is desirable.  Flexibility and a willingness to work with all ages of children within the primary school setting are also essential.

Job/Person Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring after school assistant to assist with the planning, day-to-day organisation and operation of the club, providing high quality play opportunities and care for children in an inclusive environment.


Variable hours are available between 3 and 7 hours a week, working 2 or 3 days a week.  Experience of working in a similar environment is desirable,
