Term 6:
Our topic this term is 'Seaside Holidays'. We will be learning how to create colour washes in art to make seaside/beach/landscape patterns. In science we will be investigating which materials sink and float and which shapes float best as we try to identify which is the best material to use when reading a book in the swimming pool! In history we will look at old postcards from holidays in the past and we will find out the main differences between seaside holidays now and then. In geography we will be locating holiday destinations in the UK. We will recap previous learning where we focused on the names and locations of the four countries in the UK.
