Waste Week Clothing Collection
As part of Waste Week, we joined the Science into Schools initiative which meant if we collected unwanted textiles we could swap the items we no longer need, for fantastic new science equipment.
This means that not only have we been able to teach the children about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling, but have also given them an opportunity to be involved with providing resources for our school.
Year 4 helped load the lorry with our bags.
They have now been taken away to be weighed and we will update you in due course with how much we collected and what new equipment we may get.
