Science - Investigating Plants
Plants and growth is our Science topic this term and we have been finding out about the function of different parts of a plant. We know that the stem carries water around the plant but we wanted to find out if temperature effects the rate at which water is transported. We designed and set up an investigation to see if we could find out. We placed 3 plants in the same amount of coloured water in 3 different locations, at 3 different temperatures and observed which plants were the quickest to absorb and transport the coloured water.
