Safer Internet Day Competition 2021

Safer Internet Day was on the 9th February 2021

Safer Internet Day 2021 was celebrated in the UK with the theme: 

An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world

This year's theme was all about getting children to think about the reliability of information on the internet and helping them to understand that not everything they read is true.

 

We ran a competition asking children to share 3 facts, either about themselves or about something else that interests them, and make 2 of them correct and 1 false. Then we challenged other children to guess which facts were true and which were false. It was great to to see the children getting creative and really thinking about the reliability of information.

 

Thank you to everyone for your fantastic entries - It has been great fun trying to sort fact from fiction.
