RSPB National Bird Watch Campaign - January 2017
Year 2 have been getting involved with the RSPB National Bird Watch Campaign.
Each child was given their own British Bird to find out about.
They have also sketched their birds and have used pastels to reflect the natural colours of their bird as well as using recyclable materials to make birdfeeders.
Class 2 have also been thinking about how they can encourage more birds into their gardens. They had a look at some ideas of ways to construct a bird feeder from recycled materials before having a go themselves.
Class 2 also had great fun making bird food to hang in their gardens. Most of the bird seed did stay in the mixing bowls with the lard! Hopefully the birds will enjoy these treats.
