Pumpkin Still Life using pastels October 2021
As part of our discussions about Harvest and Autumn, we had a closer look at some pumpkins which are ripe and ready to eat at this time of year. We were encouraged to look / observe closely the different colours, shapes, patterns and markings on some different pumpkins. There is a lot more to see than just orange. We then explored how to use the pastels to draw a picture of the pumpkin where we discovered that you can blend different coloured pastels together to make a different colour.
