Eco Councillors' litter project
We are proud of our Eco Councillors who have been working hard on a litter project. A Year 6 Councillor wrote a play with an anti-litter message and the children performed it to the school in an assembly. After the event lots of children wrote down their ideas about how to combat litter in a book left out for the purpose. Years 2 and 4 now check the playground and field after the Infant and Junior snack times. In the near future, the Eco Council will work on project to raise money for new, more eye catching bins (another idea from the book of ideas for beating litter). Thank you to the Eco Councillors for raising awareness about litter and encouraging people to care for their school environment.
