DT, Forest School - Queen's Jubilee

We had a wonderful Queen’s Jubilee themed morning at the woods today; plaiting and weaving natural crowns and making wooden medallions.

Our school theme of the week is ‘Thinking of others before ourselves’ so we decided to design and make a commemorative wooden medallion for someone else.

 

We think we may have discovered the home of a wood pecker in at the back of our forest along with some impressive fungi - nature truly impressed us today!
