Computing - Understanding Networks
We have been learning about how computer networks function and how our school network delivers the internet to our laptops. We visited our school server in the library and looked at wired connection points and wireless routers.
We then went on to play a network simulation game where each child has their own IP address and each table had their own switch whose job it was to deliver messages to other 'networks' in the classroom. The children loved thinking up messages, breaking them down and sequencing them to decode them.
