    The Phone Call by James.B.D

Ring. The silence of the British morning was shattered. ‘Who is this?’

‘Why are they calling?’ his mind was filled with thoughts, and fear. Reluctantly, he answered. Curious.

The voice seemed strange, anonymous even.

“Jack Alderson your company is requested to explain your mistakes,” claimed the voice.

“Who, how do you know my name?!” quivered Jack.

“We have been watching,” acknowledged the unidentified speaker. Jack was shocked.

“What do you mean you have been watching who are you?” asked Jack, with fear and confusion.

“We are the voice of the silent, the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, the help of the helpless and the hope of the hopeless. We are anonymous.”

“How can you be part of anonymous? I don’t know if this is a joke but if it is, it’s not funny,” exclaimed Jack with rage.

“This is neither a joke nor a laughing matter and, would ordinary people know extraordinary details about you Mr. Alderson?” asked anonymous.

“You don’t know anything about me.” Replied Jack

“We know more than you think we do, like where you live.” Answered the caller.

“C’mon then, what’s my address?” asked Jack, putting them to the test.

“19 Wellcars Square,” answered the anonymous figure. Silence. Nothing was said. Nothing happened but something was seen.

Out within the mist stood five men, each wearing an anonymous mask, covering their true identity.

“What is this?! Who are they?!”Asked Jack, trembling with fear.

“There is nothing to fear other than fear itself…”Assured the voice on the phone.”…For these are five of us each representing one mistake you made in your life, pick a number in between one to five. “Requested Anonymous

“No, I don’t want to,” replied Jack. Just then all five men started to close in on him.

“3, I pick 3!” whimpered jack, now crying.

“You have chosen…” said anonymous, “…we now have something to say…’ all of a sudden, the caller changed, his tone of voice was normal like and average man.

    “It’s just a prank bro!!!”
