School Games Awards Evening
Mr Fane and Mrs Brown attended the North Oxfordshire School Sports Partnership, School Games Mark Awards evening on 14th November. Karen Sargant, our School Sports Mentor, who works closely with the staff and children at Dr Radcliffe's to help maintain and develop the quantity and quality of PE and School Sport at school was also in attendance.
At the event, Mr Fane was presented with our latest School Games Mark Gold Award, which recognises the high level of participation in sport at Dr Radcliffe's both through club attendance and in events and competitions. It is a reflection of the high status of PE at Dr Radcliffe's and all the amazing efforts of the children in a huge range of events and staff in providing so many opportunities.
An inspiring talk was also given by former Gold Medal winning Paralympian and National Football Museum Hall of Fame inductee Alistair Patrick Heselton.
