Junior Active Leaders
This week Class 5 have been training to be Junior Active Leaders, this has involved learning new games, creating their own games in small groups and teaching those games to the Year 2 children.
They followed N.A.R.D
N - Name of the game
A - Aim of the game
R - Rules of the game
D - Demonstration of the game
Today they completed their training and received an Active Leaders T.Shirt, certificate and badge.
Next term and also next year, the children will use their new skills to lead games during lunchtime play with the younger children.
As part of our Junior Active Leaders course we have been learning some basic first aid.
