Colour mixing magic!
Some of the children were experimenting with how the water fell off the table when there was too much for it too hold. Mrs Yates added some red powder paint to the puddle on the floor which the children thought was brilliant. The gasps and squeals of excitement when she added some blue powder paint were even louder. "It's turned purple!" "Oh my goodness, that's magic!" where amongst the many comments by the children. They continued to play and explore with the two colours of powder paint and water.
