Blog 11-11-18

YEAR 6 BLOG – 12/11/18

Monday kicked off with our usual 2k run. It was very hard and exhausting as always but otherwise enjoyable. As usual we did circle time and talked about our upcoming movie night which we started selling tickets for.

We also benefited from a stage rehearsal of our Christmas production, The Snow Queen.

On Tuesday, fabulous Mrs Sutton took the class, as Mr Brigg was out and the day was very much enjoyed, nonetheless. We started the day with our arts logs, and continued to have fun all through the day, with lots of people left early, as cross country was that day.

Wednesday was happy as Mr Brigg returned for us. A bit that wasn’t so happy though was the fact that we did our 2k run, again! It is getting easier as we are coming to terms with it though. We continued to sell tickets for movie night and are hoping lots will attend.

Some of you may know that we are holding movie night to fundraise for our trip to see the West End production of Mamma Mia and to go to Kidzania in the morning.

We also had another rehearsal and French.

Thursday, Mr Brigg was out, again! However, we had the glorious Mrs Marshall teaching us for the day, with Mrs Sutton helping out. It was very fun, especially as we had games!!!

Friday night was movie night (unlike on the radio when Friday night is music night)! We had a supply teacher today – Mr Brigg was at a conference– called Mr Herlihey. We had a very enjoyable English lesson about a story called ‘The Hunter And The Freedom Bird’. We had our usual test hour and are looking forward to science, golden time and movie night which we all have allocated jobs. JJJJJJJ

We hope that you have found this blog entertaining!
