World Book Day

We had a great time playing games inspired by books in PE to celebrate World Book Day. We flew around in the world of Harry Potter, visited Charlie and the chocolate factory, imagined we were Thing 1 and Thing 2 catching balls with 'thing' hands and then became hungry caterpillars passing 'food' along our length.
We bought in our favourite books and enjoyed sharing them with the class to celebrate World Book Day. We then went on to create our own little books in small groups, each contributing to the story, a bit like a game of consequences. We came up with some great stories and had a lot of fun sharing them at the end of the day!
