Science - What is soil?

We have been getting our hands dirty in the name of science this week.
What is soil made up of? If you’re not sure come and ask class 3.

We explored a soil sample and carried out tests to try and determine whether it was a sandy, loam or clay soil. Talking about the role of soil in our ecosystem made us really think about how important the brown, mucky stuff  is to us and our survival.
