Riley Aumonier's Collective Noun Poem!

Have you ever heard of …

Have you ever heard of a tick of teachers,

Or a sitting-down of chairs?

Have you ever heard of a circus of baboons,

Or a wilderness of bears?

Have you ever heard of an ambush of tigers,

Or an inkingness of pens?

Have you ever heard of a pride of ants,

Or a chitter-chatter of hens?

Have you ever heard of a sound of noises,

Or a patch of numbers?

Have you ever heard of a clack of clocks,

Or a batch of cucumbers?

Have you ever heard of a flame of fires,

Or a solidness of stone?

Have you ever heard of a daftness of dogs,

Or a chillingness of bone?

Have you ever heard of a deliciousness of burgers,

Or a splintering of wood?

Have you ever heard of a scratch of itches,

Or a murkiness of mud?

Have you ever heard of a led of pencils,

Or  a liquidness of water?

Have you ever heard of a leaf of plants,

Or a coldness of slaughter?
