We explored a number of stone age 'replica' artefacts, describing their properties and making predictions about their use. We found out that you can learn a lot about the past from the tools that people used.
After looking at cave paintings that date back thousands of years we had a go a creating some of our own. We painted using natural objects like twigs, plants and stones, which is a lot more challenging than it looks! Another task involved working with a partner to create hand prints using natural tones of colour.
