First trip to our woods
We had a lovely sunny day for our first trip into the woods, we could see the early signs of Autumn appearing. Once we'd reminded ourselves of the rules to keep ourselves safe in the woods, we played a warm up game that was a bit like Hide and Seek but we had to reply to Mrs Goldsworthy that she could hear us to give her a clue as to where we were. Then Mrs Goldsworthy challenged us to be Colour Detectives. We had to hunt for colours that match a strip of colours.
We also explored the woods in a more unusual way - by looking into a mirror which was placed on the bridge of our nose so that we could look up at the canopy. We also had a little lie down to look up towards the canopy and tried to describe what we could see, then we did this looking at the forest floor.
