On Monday class 3 had a fantastic day exploring two museums in Oxford. We started the day at the Museum of the History of Science, studying inventions and their impact on life today. Learning about Morse Code and sending messages to each other was a really popular activity.
Luckily, the weather held out for us, so after a sunny lunch on the lawns outside the Museum of Natural History, we went in to explore. It was great to see some of the rocks and minerals we studied earlier on in the year, on a grander scale and get the chance to touch and different specimens. The live Salmon Pink Tarantula attracted a lot of attention, as well as the 'not so alive' American Black Bear.
