Matt Robinson – Chair of Curriculum, and IT/ICT Link Governor
I originally joined the team as a Parent Governor in early 2013. In that time, I have advised the School on IT infrastructure, chaired the Finance committee for two years before taking over as Chair of Curriculum in 2016. I work for Barclays Bank as part of a small team tasked with advising on how different circumstances in peoples lives, including disability and mental health issues, can lead to vulnerability and financial difficulty. I also lead the colleague network championing disability, diversity and inclusion in the workplace UK-wide. Combined with being a governor, these are my ‘antidotes’ to working for a bank.
Most importantly I am father to Lucy who has special education needs. No school could have provided a more supportive, inclusive, nurturing, caring, stimulating and safe environment for her than ours. She thrived and excelled in every way possible.
Dr Radcliffe’s has an amazing teaching and educational support team who work tirelessly for our children’s development. Our role as Governors is to support and challenge that team in equal measure, and to help them face a changing and demanding regulatory environment under ever increasing financial pressure.
