History - Defend and Attack - Making a model Trebuchet

In our topic work we have been learning about how castles were made to be as strong as possible to try and prevent them from being attacked. We have also discovered that there are two main ways to attack a castle either by Storming it or setting up a Siege. For both this options different tactics and weapons were used. We have had fun trying to build a model trebuchet, like the one we saw at Warwick Castle, to fire 'cotton wool cannon balls!'
