Class R enjoyed a very busy morning at Sutton Courtney nature reserve. The children went to a small wood to search for birds. They then listened to a story about bugs and then went on a hunt to find as many different types of minibeasts as they could. Lots of slugs, worms , snails and beetles were scooped up and examined in small pots ! The children then moved onto to making their own bugs out of pebbles, making a bug house and examining worms ! We all had a lovely morning, although the highlight for the children was probably the coach ride.
