The Big Bumblebee Discovery

Year 4 are currently taking part in The Big Bumblebee Discovery. This is a national campaign that is being run by EDF Energy in conjunction with The British Science Association and Centre for Ecology & Hydrology to gather data and investigate the diversity of bumblebees in the UK. We observe and record how many bumblebees visit lavender plants and what colour group they represent. The information is then uploaded to The Pod so it can be used in the scientific research. We are enjoying being science citizens!!
